How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Nice Work account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@ciceroapps.com from your registered account email address
- Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
- Confirm your request in the body of the email
Important: You must send the deletion request from the email address associated with your Nice Work account. This helps us verify your identity and ensure account security.
Timeline: We will process your request and send you a confirmation within 5 business days .
What Happens to Your Data
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our active systems:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, and account settings
- Referral Data: Information about referrals you made or received
- User Content: Any other personal data stored in your account
Data That Will Be Retained
For legal and financial compliance purposes, some data must be retained:
- Transaction History: Records of payments, referrals, and payouts (retained for up to 1 year as required for financial compliance and tax reporting)
- Payout Records: Information about rewards you received (retained for the same financial compliance period)
Why We Retain This Data: We are required by law to maintain financial records for a minimum period to comply with tax regulations, prevent fraud, and fulfill our legal obligations.
Backup Data
Deleted data may persist in our backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently removed. This backup period helps us recover data in case of technical issues and is a standard security practice.
Before You Delete Your Account
Important Notice
If you have any pending transactions, referrals, or payouts, you may need to resolve these before deleting your account. Deleting your account while you have pending items may result in forfeiting unclaimed rewards or interrupting active referrals.
